This year's Social Justice theme is "The Least of These" from Matthew 25:40 and Psalms 103. These verses answer the 'What' and 'Why' giving thanks to God leads us to show mercy and grace to the least of our brothers and sisters. Even Apostle Paul writes in Colossians "whatever you do whether in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God." In Sunday's message we will see why Thanksgiving is so important in our worship as we show mercy and grace to "The Least of These."

There will always be things we may not feel thankful for, but we can still be thank-full by putting a different focus on what thankfulness really is. Let's open the door for our hearts to be transformed this month of November as we focus not only on thanking God for our blessings, but thanking Him for being the One who blesses. “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

"The struggle is real.. We are starting a new message series on mental health that is a topic often not discussed in church. Does the church play any role? As Christians what should be our attitude? Minimally we want to be a church that has compassion and that starts with awareness. ""Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."" (Matthew 11:28)"

We all know that we should love God, love people, and serve the world, but how do we become the kinds of people who naturally are more loving? Our new 6 week sermon series will explore what it means to learn from Jesus as His disciples in a practical way.‍

Preparing for this year's Social Justice sermon series, I (Pastor Ben) have become more aware of how sheltered I am and we (church) are. For the most part, we have done this to ourselves. We are not thinking or caring enough about the people around the world; how they have been or are being treated right now. We are called to become "THE Light on a HIll” - sharing the love of Christ by serving others. So I asked the question, "Is it Justice to think of JustUS?" When I started reading Amos, I became more convicted and at a loss at the same time. Convicted how by hiding our heads in the sand, we are part of the problem. I became convicted that our Lord cares for ALL people, not just those who call Him, Lord. So, let's find out how we can go beyond thinking about just us and begin to draw from the gifts of many; coming up with actions of grace, mercy and love. In this together, Pastor Ben

Are you desperate? for Jesus? To succeed in this transformation in us, we must be desperately seeking Jesus. In this new series we will look at 4 people in the Gospels who were desperate: the bleeding woman, the rich young ruler, the woman with the jar of perfume, and the tax collector. How are you like them? Who do you see around you like them? Our mission is to share the treasure of Jesus.

Is church a hobby? Do we sometimes treat our faith as an extracurricular activity? For the early church in Acts 2, their devotion to their faith and to each other was of the utmost importance!

"A penny saved is a penny earned." From an early age, many of us have been told to save and invest for a brighter future. In The Sermon on the Mount, Jesus’ first and most well-known message, he also advised us of how to invest for a brighter eternity. However, Jesus gave directives on living in his new world which flips our world Upside Down, covering such issues as "thunk it, done it", integrity matters, investments with God, and worry management. In this new series we will learn Jesus’ instructions on upside down living, and how our everyday lives should reflect His words. More than looking good on the outside, but a matter of the heart.

Waiting with great expectation for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, hope for the world. Waiting is so very hard to do. Regardless of the circumstances for the waiting, we are not wired to be comfortable with it, especially in a modern world of microwaves and instant gratification.

In this series, we focus on the Book of Nehemiah and the story of rebuilding a new identity and relationship with God. Join us as we dig deeper into spiritual revival and renewal.

WHAT IS COVID-19 REVEALING? About God? About ourselves? About the world we live in? Join us this Sunday as we process the meaning of this time in light of God’s word.

Who is our neighbor? Well, who do you see? It's whoever you meet today and our neighbor is anyone that we can help esp. those who are "Broken." In light of what's happening in our country, God sees our hurt and our brokenness and He is guiding us to see other's hurt and needs!
