“We were made to worship together. Among the multitudes. With the great horde. Swallowed up in the magnificent mass of the redeemed.

God didn’t fashion us to enjoy him finally as solitary individuals, but as happy members of a countlessly large family.” (Habits of Grace, David Mathis)

Benefits of Corporate Worship:

1. Focus  (Psalm 73:16-17)

Tune out the fog of our circumstances to tune in on God.

2. Community (Rev7:9)

Not alone, but part of a community.

3. Growth (Acts 2:42, 1 Cor 14:3)

    Corporate worship grows us spiritually.

4. Submission (Ephesian 5:18-21)

Learning to let go and submitting to others.

5. Magnified Joy (Psalm 100:1-4)

A big party to share joy together.

“The need for God’s people to be so collectively full of God’s presence that their worship is transformed, their relationships are transformed, and their lives as a totality are transformed.”            (Practicing the Power, Sam Storm)

“Be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”                                                   (Ephesians 5:18-20)
