In BASIC, we want to create opportunities for our youth to cultivate connections with one another, foster growth and authenticity in their faith and identity, and empower them to serve and use their unique gifts for God’s kingdom.
"BASIC" stands for Brothers and Sisters in Christ! Every Sunday except the last Sunday of the month, BASIC meets together in the Fellowship Hall for their own youth service. During this time, we learn about God's Word through activities and lessons taught by our BASIC Crew.
POD stands for People of Discipleship. Think of these like discipleship groups, or rather, like your own home groups! The hope for PODs is to give students an opportunity, outside of the craziness on a Sunday, to be open and transparent in a smaller group setting and cared for by a youth leader.
Final Fridays take place on the LAST Friday of each month! This is just a chance to gather as an entire youth group! Typically 7:30-9:30pm and located in the CLC Fell Hall (unless otherwise stated)!
We treasure our kids and youth and take their safety seriously. We are mindful of physical, emotional and spiritual safety choosing known and trusted adult leaders. Our regular volunteers are background checked, fingerprinted and regularly trained.
