JOIN YOUNG @ HEART HG at PROJECT PEACE, Aug. 9

We’re excited to remind you about our upcoming Day of Service on August 9 from 9:00am - 12 noon. The Young-At-Heart (YAH) Small group is participating at the Lockwood STEAM Academy in Oakland. Come join them! Help is needed to pick up bagels and refreshments, book sorting, cleaning and organizing, gardening, etc. To sign up, contact the Compassion Team directly =)

Important Reminders

1) This event is free, but sites have limited volunteer spots. Please register in advance so that you (and your friends) can be sure to serve at the site that most interests you.

2) Children need to be registered (except Littles under 5). Please check posted age requirements. There will be no childcare, but supervised children are welcome at most sites unless posted otherwise.

3) All volunteers are reminded to follow any health & safety protocols that your site requires, since they serve vulnerable communities. Be prepared to wear a mask just in case.
